Charter Boat Services & Referral Services Block Island Fishworks can recommend several local Charter Fishing boats. We will refer you to a qualified captain and boat if we cannot accommodate you . All Captains are Coast Guard Licensed and have the local knowledge and skill to bring you a memorable fishing experience. Available boats are 20ft – 36ft and conduct half-day (4hrs), 3/4 day (6hrs), and full day (8hrs) charters targeting striped bass, bluefish, bonito, false albacore, tuna, shark, scup, seabass, and fluke. Fly Fishing & Light Tackle Charters 1 to 3 people Description ~ Casting light tackle spinning gear or fly-fishing in tight to the beaches, rock piles, and rips around the Island. All gear provided, all abilities welcome! Targeting Stripers, Blues, Bonito, Albies, & BFT's 3 hr ~ $300 4 hr ~ $350 6 hr ~ $550 8 hr ~ $650 (recommend split day)
NEW ~ Spearfishing Lessons and Charters 1-2 people New for 2010, BI Fishworks is offering Spearfishing lessons and charters. These trips are for 1 or 2 people who will free dive with an instructor at select spots around Block Island (captain stays on the boat) Lessons will concentrate on safety, tactics, protocol, fish selection, and conservation. All gear is provided - pole spears, spear guns, weight belts, masks, fins and suits. 4hrs ~ $500
Inshore Charter Boat up to six people Description ~ Casting, eeling, fly fishing, or trolling for bass and bluefish, bottom fishing for fluke and seabass, this is a great family trip. Targeting Stripers, Blues, Bonito, False Albacore, Fluke, Sea Bass & Porgy. 1/2 day (4hr) $450 to $500 Full Day (8+hr) $800
Offshore Charter Boat up to six people Referrals provided ~ you will leave the dock early to travel 20-40 miles offshore. Want a shorter trip? ask about our shark or mahi trips aboard our 26 ft Regulator. Mahi, BFT's, Shark - 6hrs, $700 Tuna, Mahi, sharks - 10hrs, $1000
Included in your trip: Your fishing charters and guided trips will include all tackle and bait, some captains will provide beverages. You can keep the fish you catch however we strongly encourage catch and release - offshore trip policies may vary. *Gratuities are customarily 18% and are not part of the trip price.*
What to bring: Wear layers of clothing including a water proof jacket, pants, a hat, non- marring rubber soled shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, drinks and snacks (BYOB), and don't forget your camera.

Cancellation Policy: Deposit is refundable if trips are cancelled 7 days prior to reservation. Deposits are non refundable for trips cancelled less than 7 days and trips cancelled 48 hrs or less are subject to full price of scheduled trip. Any trip cancelled by the Captain are fully refundable.
